A hidden gateway to nature & Peace!

Well maintained boutique property, nestled in outskirts of Jaipur. It's like a hidden gateway away from all the chaos. Peace and nature are two complimentary things they offer along with breakfast. Well managed by Mr. Ransher Singh Ji. Great hospitality by Mr. Biplop Ghosh who is always around the property. Rooms are spacious, heritage style, ample space to walk and chill around the property. Fresh food is prepared and served on request. Very farm to table kind of scene. 10/10

This is a lovely old building with pretty grounds but we did have a number of issues with the cleanliness of the room, bed linen and the pool. The staff are all very friendly but it just feels that they lack any proper training and management. We had to get the bed sheets changed which were all marked; hopefully it was only makeup on them! The kettle was dirty on top, the covering on the seat in the bay window was very stained but they didn't change it. The shower head was spraying water up the wall so they fitted a new one. The outside tables were dirty with dust and old ketchup and the pool had lots of leaves in it, dirt and bird droppings. Even the resident dog had a little paddle in it. The staff were very eager to please but they just didn't seem to be very well trained. I had to explain that white wine needed to be served chilled. The breakfast menu was very limited, cereal, toast and some fruit with only an omelette as the hot food offering. It wasn't until our last day of the stay (day 3) that some additional hot food was provided; maybe due to the low numbers staying there at the time. The staff uniforms were just the same grubby ones each day by the look of it, not very nice when they are serving you food. Checkout was a weird experience with about 5 members of staff hovering around whilst I counted out my cash to pay our bill. I had tipped a number of them who we dealt with most of the time it was a bit odd being watched whilst counted the cash. Overall we felt that the place could be exceptional but the cleanliness and standard of service needs to be approved.

An amazing venue, friendly and fantastic waiting staff and an all round great experience. Really large and beautifully decorated rooms, excellent service, nice bar. Everybody had a smile on their face. Good food. Good atmosphere. A great stay.

Enjoyed a superb 3 night stay in this beautiful heritage property. A sea of tranquility about half an hour away from downtown Jaipur. Beautiful clean room, great breakfasts and dinners - and friendly attentive staff. Amazing grounds and pool area too - perfect for spending a couple of peaceful lazy hours in the late afternoon after a hectic days sightseeing. It was also a pleasure to meet the owner Mr Ransher Singh on a couple of occasions who was kind enough to talk us through several of the interesting stories behind the many fascinating photographs on the wall in the beautiful polo lounge/bar. A thoroughly enjoyable and very pleasant stay.

It was a mistake that we made a booking at Khas Bagh. The property is good with a big lawn area, kitchen garden etc. but it is managed extremely badly by the staff Ambiance and Atmosphere: - No control on noisy guests: High chances of no silence/peace in the night as they will give rooms to indecent and disrespectful people who will drink outside their room, talk loudly and create ruckus in the night. It is understandable that they don't know who is booking the room but taking action against the miscreants is in their hand but even after multiple complains till 1 AM in the night, the hotel staff failed miserably in taking any action. Responsiveness of the hotel staff against complaint and requests was extremely bad. I went along with my 1 year old son and while we were sleeping in the room, he got disturbed a lot of times in the night because of the loud noises but we felt helpless till 4 AM as neither the hotel staff and manager did anything nor our request to these people to lower the volume worked. Service - Front desk was not responsive on the phone and was unavailable after 11 pm if you are facing any issue. You will have to call multiple times to get any response. We had got our room in the building that they call "Badal Mahal" and it was a bit far from the front desk so it was really bad experience given the front desk being non responsive Parking - No proper parking area was available. Car were getting blocked with another car and you won't be able to take your car out in case of emergency in the night Dining - There is no menu card anywhere(room or restaurant) in the hotel. They will tell you a limited list of items, you have to choose out of them only, nothing beyond. Food quality was good but there is no transparency in terms of the price and options that you can order which is sad. Amenities - Wifi quality was very bad. You won't be able to connect with wifi and if you are able to then it will say no internet available and in sometime it will disconnect automatically. You will have to rely on your mobile data only. - Water kettle cap was getting stuck and was not easy to open. On raising the issue, they said to manage with it as it working fine just the cap is getting stuck and use your strength to open. Quite surprising that response was. Special call out - Off all the bad experiences, serving staff "Suresh" in the restaurant was really good and friendly. Given that we had a 1 year old kid with us, he had given extra attention to us and ensured to serve us hot food on table and anything required to feed the kid. To conclude, it is a clear "NO" for Khas Bagh. We had paid Rs.12000 per night for suite room which is not at all a value for money given the experience we had. Shamefulness of the staff also was next level as they were not at all sorry for giving that kind of experience when we went for checking out and pay our bill. I am pretty sure if they won't see repeat customer given the kind of service they provide.
